Brasilito is a vibrant community filled with hardworking families and bright children - but many face barriers to education, healthcare, and safe community spaces. Brasilito Impact was created to change that. Our mission is to invest in the future of Brasilito by supporting education, health, culture, and the environment. With the right opportunities, we can empower the next generation and strengthen the community we all love.
Our Community Commitment
Arcadia is actively working alongside the key community institutions that serve Brasilito - ADI, Blue Flag (Bandera Azul), CEPIA, ACCAI, and the Do It Foundation. Our commitment is simple: to help make Brasilito a safer, cleaner, and better place by strengthening the local organizations that already serve this community.
Annual Charity Event
Each year, the Brasilito Impact community comes together to celebrate, connect, and raise funds for the programs that are changing lives in our community.
Impact in Action
Through our partnerships with CEPIA and the ADI of Brasilito, every dollar was put to work immediately - supporting children's programs, professional staff, and a full renovation of the Playa Brasilito Community Center.
Education
Personalized academic support for children and teens - reducing educational gaps and improving school performance through one-on-one tutoring led by qualified educators.
ADI
Through ADI - Brasilito's local development association - funds were directed toward community infrastructure and development projects that benefit all residents.
Community Care
A dedicated social worker who identifies vulnerability, monitors family situations, and connects Brasilito families to the care and resources they need.
Arts & Expression
Through music classes, the aim is not only to develop musical and performing skills, but also to work on life skills such as active listening, respect, confidence, sharing, patience, among others.
Renovation
Three A/C units installed throughout the community center - creating a learning environment that withstands Guanacaste's extreme heat and protects equipment year-round.

Spaces related to art and crafts are promoted, therefore the Crafts Club and Art classes are offered every week so that boys and girls can explore their creativity and strenghten self-esteem.

Infrastructure
A full transformation of the Playa Brasilito Community Center - new signage, landscaping, LED lighting, upgraded security, and a completely renewed exterior.

Brasilito's primary local development association - the elected body responsible for driving community improvement projects and channeling investment into local infrastructure. The ADI is the voice of the community in Brasilito, ensuring that resources reach the people who need them most.

Improving Lives Across Costa Rica
A Costa Rican family-run nonprofit dedicated to improving accessibility and quality of life for underserved communities. The Do It Foundation has donated over 35,000 wheelchairs to people in need, transforming the lives of families across the country - while also collaborating with local schools to enhance learning environments throughout Guanacaste.

CEPIA
Culture, Education, and Psychology of Infants and Adolescents
A Costa Rican NGO that has been promoting culture, education, and comprehensive health for vulnerable children and adults since 2005 to improve their quality of life, in 29 coastal communities. In Brasilito, CEPIA offers weekly academic support, arts and music classes, and sports, in addition to providing mental health services, legal advice, and guidance from a social worker for families that are struggling. ACCAI
Asociación Comunidad Consciente y de Atención Integral
ACCAI is a Costa Rican NGO that promotes the development of Brasilito by offering 100% free educational, technological, sports, and cultural programs for children, youth, and adults. We provide comprehensive academic support in Mathematics, English and French, Art, Technology, Pickleball, and Environmental Education, in addition to having a Community Library with more than 2,500 books and a Reading Club. We firmly believe in the power of education and culture to transform lives.

Arcadia is supporting Brasilito's Blue Flag environmental program - providing legal counsel to establish a formal association so the program can independently manage funds, grow its reach, and keep Playa Brasilito among Costa Rica's cleanest beaches.

Tree planting activities completed in partnership with Blue Flag - adding shade, habitat, and natural beauty along the beach and throughout the community.
Ongoing reforestation efforts along the beachfront to restore native vegetation, prevent erosion, and support Brasilito's coastal ecosystem for the long term.
